The Consultation

To order a Freedom wig, I would need to meet you in person to create a custom 3D scan of your scalp and review your customizing choices. Please note that a bald or shaved scalp is required to carry out a 3D scan, and it is also essential to maintain a bare scalp to wear a suction wig successfully.

The next stage is that  Freedom Wigs begin working on your order. A clear plastic fitting cap called a “fit cap” is created. In around  4-6 weeks of your first consultation, your fit cap is then sent back to you to try, ensuring the fit and hairline are accurate.

 

A hair sample will also arrive, allowing you to verify colour and curl pattern choice. Once the fit cap has been tested and checked and you are happy with the hair sample, your new wig is carefully handcrafted over the next 8-10 weeks.

 

The final step is meeting with your Stylist to have your hair cut and styled!

It usually takes around 3 to 4 months to make a Freedom wig, although certain customisations, for example longer hair or certain colours, can increase this timescale this due to availability of hair.
